(Scope of application)
Article 1
The contract regarding the use of the ski resort operated by our company (hereinafter referred to as "the ski resort") shall be as stipulated in these terms of use, and matters not stipulated in these terms of use shall be as stipulated by law or in accordance with general custom.
(Dangers inherent in snow sports)
Article 2
Those who use this ski resort (hereinafter referred to as "users") should understand that all snow sports, including skiing and snowboarding, have the following inherent dangers.
① Hazards associated with weather such as snowfall, blizzard, rain, dense fog, etc.
② Hazards associated with terrain such as cliffs, slopes, unevenness, ditches, streams, etc.
③ Hazards due to snow quality and snow surface conditions such as ice burns, deep snow, crevasses, avalanches
④ Hazards due to natural obstacles such as standing trees, stumps, bushes, rocks, exposed ground, etc.
⑤ Risk of collision with man-made structures such as lift supports, signs, ropes, mats, etc.
⑥ Risk of collision with snow vehicles
⑦ Risk of using snow parks
⑧ Risk of excessive speed
⑨ Risk of self-fall
⑩ Risk of collision with other users
⑪ Risk of fatigue, drinking, taking drugs, and poor physical condition
⑫ Risks due to the use of inappropriate equipment
⑬ Other similar risks
(For skiing)
Article 3
1 Users should anticipate the dangers inherent in snow sports as described in the previous article, and ski while avoiding the dangers.
2 Users must always look ahead and be able to stop or turn at any time.
(About getting on and off the lift)
Article 4
1 Users should carefully read the instructions on the bulletin board and follow them when getting on and off the lift.
2 If you feel uneasy about getting on and off the lift, please notify the staff and receive the necessary assistance.
(Compliance with signs and instructions)
Article 5
Users are requested to follow the instructions of the ski resort staff, including precautions and warnings posted on signs, bulletin boards, public announcements, and course maps, as well as patrols.
(Prohibited acts)
Article 6
Users are prohibited from the following acts.
① Skating outside the course
② Entering or skiing on a closed course
③ Skating close to trees, lift supports, nets, ropes, mats, etc.
④ Skating close to other users
⑤ Obstructing other users from skiing
⑥ Approaching all snow vehicles, including snow compactors (course maintenance)
⑦ Obstructing the operation of lifts
⑧ Skiing in an unhealthy state of mind and body due to the influence of alcohol or drugs
⑨ Stopping or sitting on the course for a long time
⑩ Performing commercial activities at this ski resort without permission from the ski resort.
⑪ Flying a drone without permission from the ski resort
⑫ Throwing away or leaving empty cans, cigarette butts, and other items in areas other than designated areas
⑬ Releasing animals such as dogs onto the ski resort
⑭ Other similar acts
(Obligation to drive slowly)
Article 7
Users should drive slowly under the following situations.
① Areas with slow speed signs
② Areas where it is difficult to see ahead due to terrain or obstacles
③ Areas where there is not enough snow at the beginning of the season or early spring
④ Snowfall, blizzard, or dense fog. When visibility is poor, such as at sunset
⑤ When weather conditions make it difficult to see the height or unevenness of the snow surface
⑥ When approaching natural obstacles such as standing trees, stumps, bushes, rocks, exposed terrain, etc.
⑦ At confluence points or narrow areas of the course
⑧ When approaching lift pick-up or drop-off points
⑨ When the course is crowded
⑩ When approaching the kids area
⑪ When approaching a patrol dispatched for work or an operating snowmobile
⑫ When skiing in a dangerous area if you do not drive slowly
(Obligations when skiing)
Article 8
Users should ski according to the following items.
① When starting out, merging from another course, or crossing the course, give priority to runners from above the course.
② While skiing, pay close attention to the movements of the runners in front of you and maintain a safe distance from them.
③ When overtaking, take into account unexpected movements of the person being overtaken, and leave a sufficient gap before passing.
④ If you fall, clear the course as quickly as possible and move to the side of the course
⑤ When stopping on the course or climbing up or down, use the edge of the course
⑥ If there are patrols on duty or snow vehicles operating, give priority to their work or operation, and stop or slow down to clear the course
⑦ Attach a stopper to the sliding equipment to prevent it from harming other users.
(Obligations for using the snow park)
Article 9
When using the snow park, users must strictly adhere to the following items.
① Follow the instructions posted on the bulletin board
② Ski within the limits of your ability and technique
③ Check the safety of the surrounding area before starting
④ Wear a helmet and other necessary protective gear
(Responsibilities of leaders/instructors)
Article 10
1 Persons who guide individuals, groups, or organizations to our ski resort, and who instruct, supervise, or care for users (hereinafter referred to as "leaders/instructors") must take the initiative in complying with these Terms of Use.
2 Supervisors/instructors should not teach participants skiing techniques, but should also teach them the matters stipulated in these Terms of Use and how to ski safely.
3 Supervisors/instructors should refrain from giving instruction in a manner or location that may disturb other users.
4 Supervisors/instructors should consider the weather, snow quality, course conditions, etc., and instruct students not to assign inappropriate tasks or expose them to danger.
(Responsibilities of students)
Article 11
1 Students do not have any priority over other users.
2 Participants must not only follow the instructions and warnings of their supervisors and instructors, but must also act in accordance with the matters stipulated in these Terms of Use.
(Responsibility of child's guardian/attendant)
Article 12
1 Parents and attendants should assess the child's ability and avoid putting the child in danger.
2 Parents and attendants should endeavor to teach their children about the matters stipulated in these Terms of Use.
(Cooperation in the event of an accident)
Article 13
1 Those involved in the accident and those who witnessed it should immediately report the circumstances of the accident to the ski resort personnel, such as those on patrol.
2 In the event of an accident, all users should try to assist the person involved.
3 Those involved in the accident and witnesses should mutually confirm their identities.
4 In the event of an accident, our company may confirm the identity of the person involved or the witness.
(Safety equipment)
Article 14
Users should try to wear safety equipment such as a helmet.
(Recommendation for insurance enrollment)
Article 15
Users should try to take out accident insurance or non-life insurance in advance in case of an accident.
(Burning of search and rescue costs)
Article 16
If we receive a request for search and rescue from a user who violated these terms of use and went outside the ski resort or off the courses within the ski resort (hereinafter referred to as the "Victim"), or from the victim's family, friends, or acquaintances. If our company conducts search and rescue for a person in distress, we will charge the person for the labor costs, snow vehicle operating costs, lift operating costs, lighting and electricity costs, and any other expenses necessary for the search and rescue operation.
(Claim for damages)
Article 17
If our company suffers damage due to a user's intention or negligence, or due to a user's failure to comply with laws and regulations or the provisions of these Terms of Use, we will claim compensation for the damage from the user.
(User Refusal)
Article 18
We will refuse use of our ski resort if any of the following items apply.
① When the application for use of this ski resort does not comply with these Terms of Use
② When the applicant requests a special burden for the use of this ski resort that cannot be handled by our company
③ When the use of this ski resort is contrary to the provisions of laws and regulations or public order or good morals
④When it is recognized that it is difficult to ensure the safety of using the ski resort due to drunken people
⑤When there is a natural disaster When the use of this ski resort is hindered due to other unavoidable reasons
⑥When the user does not follow the instructions of our staff such as patrols
⑦When the user is a designated organized crime group, a designated organized crime group member, or a member of an anti-social organization according to the "Act on Prevention of Unjust Acts by Organized Crime Group Members" (enforced on March 1, 1992)
⑧When there is a justifiable reason in addition to the above items
(Restrictions on Use)
Article 19
We may restrict the use of all or part of the ski resort if the safety of the ski resort is compromised due to weather or other unavoidable circumstances.
(Changes to terms and conditions)
Article 20
1 These terms of use are subject to change.
2 The fact that the changes will be made, the contents of the changed Terms of Use, and the effective date will be announced via the Internet or other suitable means by the time the effective date arrives.
